Founding Mediator, T. Scott Belden, JD, MBA
After nearly three decades as an attorney, Scott Belden founded Resolution Services to bring his broad legal experience into mediation and dispute resolution. His career has spanned business, commercial, and employment law, serving as lead counsel in hundreds of cases and trials. With an MBA and experience managing two law firms, Scott understands both the legal and business sides of complex disputes. He also served as Staff Judge Advocate for the California State Guard, advising senior leaders on legal matters. Additionally, he served as a Professor of Law at the California Pacific School of Law and Monterey School of Law on the subjects of Advanced Legal Research, Constitutional Law, Federal Civil Procedure, Remedies, and Employment Law,
Scott has participated in more than 200 mediations and often acted as mediator himself, helping parties reach fair, cost-effective outcomes. For the past 13 years, his focus has been employment law, handling hundreds of cases and over 100 mediations involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour class actions. With particular expertise in PAGA Early Neutral Evaluations, Scott works to resolve disputes efficiently, before costs and conflict escalate.
